Dear Veteran and/or Veteran Advocate,

I would like to invite you to the first Dutchess County Veteran’s Liaison Conference. This event will provide an opportunity for all in attendance, including our newly appointed Veteran Liaisons, one from each Town Board in Dutchess County, to learn about what the Division of Veterans’ Services does for our local veterans so that they can disseminate this down to the most local level. This is an excellent opportunity for our veterans to speak with government officials and service providers as to what their needs are, and how we can better serve you.

Representatives from partner agencies, such as MHA Vet2Vet and the Veterans’ Administration, will be in attendance as well, to provide you information and answer any questions that you may have. We are happy to have Senator Sue Serino and Assemblywoman Didi Barrett, who serves as the Chair of the NYS Assembly Veterans Affairs Committee, joining us, for an opportunity to speak with those in attendance regarding veterans’ services.

The Veterans’ Liaison Conference will begin at 6:30 on September 17th at the Dutchess County Legislature Chambers.

Please arrive a few minutes early for seating. We hope to see you there.
